Snyder and Brady Earn Double All-American Honors At National Junior Olympic Championships in Georgia

Coloradans earn seven all-American honors

Results

The 2025 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships concluded on Sunday (27-July) in Savannah, Georgia. The meet which started on Monday, July 21 drew 7,779 athletes from all 50 states with athletes qualifying through association and then regional competitions.

USATF Colorado was represented by 57 athletes who combined for 92 event entries.

Athletes and relays placing in the top-eight in their events earned All-American honors, championship medals, and the coveted All-American hats.

Colorado All-Americans (top‑8 finishes)

  • Casey Snyder (Unattached)
    – 3rd, 3000m (Boys 11–12) – 10:08.88 🥉
    – 8th, 1500m – 4:46.92
  • Basil Benjamin (Unattached)
    – 5th, High Jump (Boys 15–16) – 1.88m

  • Justice Brady (Blazers TC)
    – 5th, 800m (Boys 9–10) – 2:27.30
    – 6th, 400m – 1:02.08

  • Lauren Sankoff (Drift Motion Athletics Club)
    – 7th, Pole Vault (Girls 15–16) – 3.26m

  • NaShay McKinney (Blazers TC)
    – 8th, 800m (Girls 8U) – 2:59.43

Eight more top‑12 performances underscored Colorado's depth amongst the best in the country:
  • Alexander Taylor (Colorado Springs Striders)
    – 9th, Decathlon (Boys 17–18) – 4861 pts

  • Justice Brady (Blazers TC)
    – 9th, 1500m (Boys 9–10) – 5:08.08

  • NaShay McKinney (Blazers TC)
    – 9th, 1500m (Girls 8U) – 6:04.52

  • Kahlael Allen (Blazers TC)
    – 9th, 800m (Boys 13–14) – 2:07.96
    – 12th, 1500m – 4:26.02

  • Kiara Humphrey (Fountain TFC)
    – 10th, High Jump (Girls 15–16) – 1.53m

  • Blake Sibert (Colorado Springs Striders)
    – 11th, Shot Put (Boys 9–10) – 7.63m

  • Quinn Weaver (Steadfast Track Academy)
    – 11th, 1500m (Boys 17–18) – 4:10.75
