3rd place

What a whirlwind day out in Henderson, Nevada! I am always grateful to come out the other side of a 100 miler healthy and smiling. For myself, it was a tough day of working through some very low points early in the race. I'm so proud to have put my mind in the driver's seat so my body had the best chance at following. It wasn't a PR day for me, but it was a race that I had to fight the hardest to get to that finish line and after completing nine 100 milers, I can definitely say it's those kinds of days that set us up for the biggest break-throughs up ahead. My goal turned into making a challenging day the very best it could be and I am so appreciative that my body was able to rally for another top-10 American All-Time performance. I am proud to have fought my way back to another podium finish at a national championship race alongside a stellar elite field, representing USATF Colorado and my sponsors to the best of my ability.

Masters 65-69 1st place

Alex Nichols
2nd place

Running the USATF 100 mile road championship was a very different race experience for me. I have only run a handful of road races in my life and have mostly focused on trail and mountain races. I definitely learned a lot from this experience and there are quite a few things that I would have done differently if I had another chance, but I really enjoyed trying something new. It was fun to see how fast I could run that distance and the whole race atmosphere made all of the laps go by pretty quickly.
JANICE O'GRADY
Masters 70-74 1st place
