The 2025 USATF Colorado Long Distance Running Grand Prix concluded on November 16, with six races held across the Front Range. The series included the following events:

Runners and clubs accumulated points at each race, with their best four scores counting toward their final Grand Prix total. Bonus points were awarded for completing five or more events, adding an extra strategic layer to both the individual and club competitions. A total of $10,000 was awarded to the top finishers in each of the individual and club divisions.
Below is a division-by-division overview of the top performers from this year’s series.
The Open Men’s division delivered one of the closest and most exciting finishes in the history of the USATF Colorado Grand Prix. Alec Baldwin entered the final race sitting in fifth place in the standings, but delivered a dramatic late-season surge to climb all the way to the top. Baldwin and Ryder Searle ultimately ended the season tied with 385 points each, with Baldwin securing the overall championship through the head-to-head tie-breaker (2–1). The decisive result came in the final event—the Wash Park Circuit—where Baldwin edged Searle by just one second, giving him the critical advantage.
Underscoring the division’s depth, the top five finishers were separated by only 30 points, making it the most competitive division in the 2025 series. Isaiah Remington placed third with 375 points, followed by Douglas Nyarwoti (4th, 365 pts) and Grant Colligan (5th, 355 pts), both of whom remained in podium contention deep into the season.

A consistent and strategically executed season propelled Jessica Cunningham to the Open Women’s Grand Prix title. Cunningham amassed 390 points, aided by earning 20 bonus points for competing in five races—a decisive factor in edging out runner-up Katie Nolan, who finished with 385 points. Cunningham’s commitment to racing the full series ultimately made the difference in securing the championship.
Marie Peterson claimed third with 335 points, followed by Chloe Colligan (4th, 315 pts) and Anna Shveshkeyev (5th, 245 pts), both of whom logged strong performances across multiple disciplines.

The Masters Men’s division showcased exceptional strength and depth, led by Anthony Bruns, who claimed the overall title with 410 points—one of the highest totals across all divisions. Veteran standout Jeffrey Eggleston secured second place with 390 points, maintaining pressure throughout the season.
A strong team presence defined the next tier, as Flavio De Simone (3rd, 295 pts), Frank Zoldak (4th, 280 pts), and Todd Straka (5th, 270 pts) all represented the Boulder Road Runners, giving the club an impressive trio inside the top five.

The Masters Women’s division produced another season of exceptional performances and the closest finish in the category. Kristine Clark and Shelley McDonald ended the series tied atop the standings with 420 points each. The title was ultimately awarded to Clark, who prevailed in the head-to-head tie-breaker by a 4–0 margin, winning all four races in which the duo competed head-to-head.
Behind the leading pair, Kierann Toth finished third with 375 points, followed by Tina Gini Larter (4th, 365 pts) and Lisa Werber (5th, 310 pts), each demonstrating consistency and range across the diverse Grand Prix schedule.

The Boulder Road Runners claimed the Men’s Club Grand Prix title with 440 points, powered by five maximum-score performances and six scoring races overall. With 40 bonus points added to their total, the team demonstrated exceptional depth and consistency across the full series to win the $1000 team purse.
The Fort Collins Running Club finished second with 360 points, collecting four strong 90-point team performances early in the season. Although competitive throughout, the club was unable to match the depth and scoring volume that propelled Boulder Road Runners to the title.
In the Women’s Club standings, the Fort Collins Running Club delivered a dominant season to win the title with 440 points, bolstered by five 100-point scores and a 95-point performance at the Wash Park Circuit. With six scoring races and 40 bonus points, the club positioned itself well ahead of the competition to earn the $1000 award as top Colorado club.
The 5280 Distance Project placed second with 190 points, highlighted by a strong showing at the Wash Park Circuit. The Boulder Road Runners finished third with 170 points, scoring 80 points early in the series and another 90 points at the Fall Equinox Half Marathon.
