Whitfield, Blauwet, Pisutadamongkol Win USATF Marathon Trail Titles in Wisconsin

Results

The 2024 USATF Marathon Trail Championships were held last Saturday (28-Sept) in Cable, WI as part of the Birkie Trail Run.

Three Coloradans competed in the championships with all three claiming national titles. Brian Whitfield, 27, of Colorado Springs won the open men's title running 2:59:04. He defeated 2016 Olympian Ben Blankenship by over four minutes.

The husband and wife duo of Dudley Blauwet, 70, and Darunee Pisutadamongkol, 68, of Louisville each won masters titles. Blauwet captured the men's 70-74 title running 5:50:46 while Pisutadamongkol won the women's 65-69.
