Sant-Price wins bronze at World Indoor Championships in Serbia

On Friday (18-March) Denver's Marybeth Sant-Price, continued her incredible comeback as she finished third in the 60m at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. 

Sant-Price, 27, who was a Colorado state champion while at Valor Christian but struggled with multiple injuries and setbacks over the past seven years, ran 7.04 to eck out her spot on the podium. Three other athletes (places 4-6) were given the same time of 7.04.  The time tied her career best set earlier this year in Arkansas.

In the women's 3000m Alicia Monson, 23, of Boulder finished seventh in a time of 8:46.39.
