Awards and Recognition
Allie Mclaughlin
(Colorado Springs, CO) was named the Mountain Runner of the Year (Women) by the Mountain Ultra, Trail council.
The
Boulder Road Runners Men's 70+ team
was recognized for winning the 2022 USATF Masters Grand Prix.
Richard Schornstein
(Colorado Springs, CO) was inducted into the USATF Officials Hall of Fame. The Officials Hall of Fame honors officials in the sport track and field, race walking, and long distance running who through outstanding and dedicated service have performed at the highest level and contributed significantly locally, nationally and, perhaps, internationally over an extended period of time. Nominees may be actively working, emeritus, or deceased.
Martin Johnson
(Peyton, CO) was the recipient of the Horace Crow Award presented by the Officials committee. The award is given annually to an outstanding field event official who has given of them self for years, across the country, at all levels of officiating in the various field event venues.
