Colorado Grand Prix Set for Dramatic Finale on Sunday in Denver

Grand Prix Standings

The stage is set for a thrilling conclusion to the 2025 Colorado Grand Prix. The sixth and final race of the series will take place tomorrow (16-Nov), at the Wash Park Circuit in Denver, where club and individual titles—and $10,000 in prize money—will be decided. After five fiercely contested events across the state, athletes and clubs will toe the line one last time with podium placements and prize checks on the line.

Registration for the Wash Park Circuit race will be open up until race time. Click here for more information or to register.

Women’s Open: Cunningham vs. Nola in a Fort Collins Showdown

The Women’s Open division features one of the closest battles of the entire Grand Prix. Jessica Cunningham leads the standings with 365 points, closely followed by teammate Katie Nola, who sits at 285 points. Both represent Fort Collins Running Club, giving the club a strong chance at sweeping the top two positions.

But the race for the podium is far from over.

  • Marie Paterson holds third with 255 points,

  • Chloe Colligan is fourth with 240 points, and

  • Danielle Orie sits sixth with 200 points.

All three remain mathematically in contention for a top-three finish depending on the lineup and scoring at Wash Park. A strong final race—and the absence of other contenders—could dramatically reshape the standings.

Men’s Open: Six Athletes Still Alive for the Title

The Men’s Open competition is equally tight, with six athletes still capable of claiming the overall win.

Leading the field is Isaiah Remington (355 points, Amateur Track Club), but he faces serious pressure from:

  • Douglas Nyarwoti (340 points)

  • Cody Jones (295 points, Amateur Track Club)

  • Ryder Searle (290 points, 5280 Distance Project)

  • Alec Baldwin (285 points)

  • Grant Colligan (265 points, 5280 Distance Project)

With just 90 points separating first from sixth, tomorrow’s finishes will decide everything.

Women’s Masters: A Nail-Biter

The Women’s Masters division is a showdown between two dominant athletes:

  • Kristine Clark (400 points, Athletics Boulder)

  • Shelley McDonald (395 points, Fort Collins Running Club)

With just five points separating the pair, the final standings may ultimately depend on participation bonuses for the number of races completed.

Men’s Masters: Bruns vs. Eggleston for the Win; Battle for Third Wide Open

At the top of the Men’s Masters leaderboard, Anthony Bruns (385 points, Boulder Road Runners) and Jeffrey Eggleston (365 points, Square State Striders) remain locked in a tight duel for the championship. A win tomorrow from either runner could be enough to secure the title.

The fight for third is equally compelling, as four athletes enter Wash Park within striking distance:

  • Flavio De Simone (220 points, Boulder Road Runners)

  • Frank Zoldak (200 points, Boulder Road Runners)

  • John Probst (200 points, Boulder Road Runners)

  • Neil McDonagh (195 points)
