A message from USATF Colorado Regarding the Indoor Season

Over the past 45 years, the U.S. Air Force Academy has graciously been the host facility for countless USATF Colorado indoor competitions. Their indoor facility is undergoing major renovations and is unavailable this winter. Over the past few months, the USATF Colorado board has extensively searched for alternative venues to host meets in 2025. Unfortunately, we have been unsuccessful in finding a facility to conduct events on the days we would need or at a price that collectively fits within the budget of the association and our membership.

Please note that the USATF Colorado Open & Masters Indoor Championships will be held on February 9 at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. This meet will be open to athletes ages 14+. 

Be sure to check the USATF calendar for sanctioned events that may be added to the calendar during the season.

Additionally, the Colorado School of Mines will host a series of meets in December and January. More information on those meets can be found here.  The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) will host three meets that are open to athletes ages 12 yrs+. More information on the UCCS meets can be found here. Please note, the meets at the Mines and UCCS are not sanctioned by USATF.  Additional meets can be found via the following calendars:  Athletic.net, Milesplit, and DirectAthletics. Meets on these calendars may or may not be USATF sanctioned.
