USATF OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS - DAY 3 HIGHLIGHTS



USATF OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS - DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS
Eight (8) Coloradans competed on Day 2 of the USATF Outdoor Championships on Friday in Eugene.  In the women's 3000m Steeplechase three locals advanced to Sunday's finals.  Valerie Constien (Boulder), Emma Coburn (New Balance; Boulder), and Katie Rainsberger (New Balance; Colorado Springs) all finished in the top five in their qualifying round heats to automatically advance to the finals.  Meanwhile, in the women's 800m semi-finals Boulder's Sage Hurta ran a lifetime best of 1:58.30 to earn a spot in the finals which will take place on Sunday.

In the women's 100m Marybeth Sant Price (FK Elite Track Club; Denver, CO) placed 6th in her semi-final race but did not advance to the finals.  She finished 12th in the event with a time of 11.01. Dior Hall (Denver) finished 17th in the 100m Hurdles in a time of 13.12. Tori Gerlach (Tinman Elite; Longmont) finished 17th in the 3000m Steeplechase running 10:05.20. Aaron McCoy (University of Boulder; Boulder) finished 21st in the 400m Hurdles running 52.90.
